I just read this last night. I didn't understand why he had to attend meetings. It's not like Dawn really did anything at meetings, anyway. He could've just given them a schedule of practices and stuff and said "schedule me for jobs that don't conflict and I'll do 'em"... but then again, that wouldn't have made for much of a story, would it?
The Claudia sexy thing was SO funny! He really didn't need to use that word, lol.
I felt kinda bad for him in this book. I would be embarrassed to be "camping" in the front yard with a bunch of little boys wearing a weird furry hat, too. Especially at that age.
Why is the name King used again? Remember, that was Laine's boyfriends name as well?

King's last name is King. His full name is Clarence King. Not sure why Laine's bf was called that. Maybe because he thought he was kind of the moutain??

For the record, Laine's King sounded revolting. I can't believe sophisticated, mature Laine was impressed by him.

I can't believe that they had nicknames for each other. Heart and Babe?! Good grief.

I have no idea if Laine's bf's name really was King...but if it was....what were his parents thinking?

I know that King was Clarence's last name... I just meant that they did re-use it. They could've made his last name anything, but they went with a name they'd already used for someone. As usual

Yeah, the males in the series really just get repetitive or boring names - Jack, many Johns, Richard, etc. No Gunther or something, with 2 dots on the u.

I really like this book. Even if Logan doesn’t sound realistic for a guy, I like the way he sounds King and the other boys were such jerks. Loved it how the girls hung up on them at the end, thinking they were prank callers. It is kind of funny that Logan – the boy baby-sitter – was the one who actually had the girlfriend. I hate guys who think they are so macho and make fun of guys for being “sissys” and guys who are good with kids are turn ons for me. Enjoyed reaing about Logan sitting for the Hobarts. They are always so cute and he was really good with them. it was a good idea for him to take them to the track so he could practice, too, and brought back memeories of when I was 4 or 5 and my mom coached track. I would always go along and try to run the hurtles. The chapter with Jenny – which cracked me up – also brought back a memory about a track meet that year when I was running score cards (my “job” at some of the meets) across the track. I darted across without looking and ran right into the middle of a race, colliding with a girl. This book always makes me think of that. I was glad Logan ignored the guys at the end and went to see the kids and that he decided not to let the guys keep him from ever sitting again. Loved Hunter and Kerry in this one, too. They seem like such sweet kids. I really like Logan in the books about him – not like in some of the ones where he seems a bit possessive and overbearing.

Yeah, Logan is great in this one. I was a bit surprised when he quit the BSC... for all of 2 seconds. Those guys were jerks, Pete Black really surprised me, by being one too. Austin Bentley seemed cool though!

^I felt sorry for Logan too. I liked hearing more about Kerry and Bruno, though.
