My favorite is definitely "Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic," but I'm not sure about a least favorite. I didn't really like "Stacey and the Fashion Victim" or "Stacey and the Mystery at the Mall," though. Maybe I'd have to go with one of those.

I loved Mystery at the Mall as a kid! I thought they all sounded so grown-up with their jobs

^ I didn't read it until a few years ago but definitely would have liked that aspect of it as a kid. Right now, I'm really looking forward to rereading Fright Night and Haunted Masquerade for Halloween. Those are two of my favorites.

Favorite, I liked Claudia and the Recipie for Disaster and Stacey and the Mystery at the Mall. Least favorites are Kristy and the Middle School Vandal and Stacey and the Empty House.

My favorite mysteries are Stacey and the Stolen Hearts and Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade. I'm not sure what my least favorite is. I think I like those two so much because of the descriptions of festivities at the school and all the SMS students getting into it (and seeing more of the SMS students.)

I really liked Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade! It was kinda freaky but fun! Besides, I only like to be a LITTLE scared!

I've always loved Haunted Masquerade, when I was young it seemed very cool and "older" than most of the mysteries.

I think my favourite was Claudia and the recipe for danger...until I left it on an areoplane (whoops). Other then that, I liked Stacey and the haunted masquerade - this one actually creeped me out a little, and I think it was one of the more adult BSC books...least favourite would have to be MA and the mystery in the attic - I find MA a wee bit dull, and whiney. I've not read many of the mysteries, but I want to read more...are they available to buy on the internet?

^ Check Ebay. You can usually find decent deals on books there. Also, sometimes you can get copies on Amazon through private sellers, but that tends to be more expensive.

Also, I would try thrift stores or trading. There's a forum here, and a livejournal community devoted to bsc trading-- bsc_trades.

Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade is probably my favourite. I also loved Stacey and the Mystery at the Mall, Stacey and the Mystery Money (what is it with me and Stacey mysteries?) and Claudia and the Recipe for Danger. Least favourite was probably Jessi and the Jewel Thieves, or most of the later ones. As the series went on, they ebcame more and more improbable.
