I liked learning about Shannon....it was the first time I saw her picture.....she's pretty. Logan's was nice aswell. We don't usually get a scoop on them but I found alot about them from this book. It was very cute......Squirts story was nice too.
I just hope that I'm not confusing some book with this one..............

I was rereading shannon's chapter, and I realized that I don't really like it. I like the story, it's not that. I don't really like that it is kind of an "excuse" for her behavior in Kristy and the Snobs. Why couldn't she have just been a snob who reformed? Character development is good. Ret-conning is bad. Grrr to ... whoever wrote BSC Remembers.
And to add to the great Claudia wore a bikini to the sleepover debate -- I'm sure I have done that before. Throw on a skirt or shorts over the bottoms and get on with the day. I hope she brought a shirt to sleep in though.

I read this yesterday(God bless Bookmooch!). I remember loving it when I was young and liked it just much this time around. Kristy- In Kristy's Big News she describes her dad leaving and seems to have an excellent recollection of the whole event and the aftermath so it's a bit surprising that her chapter is about babysitting. However it's Kristy so I suppose it had to be. I liked that we saw where her love of babysitting came from and how she saw how ,by being responsible and trustworthy, she could help her mother out.And sure isn't that the basis of the BSC? Stacey- I really felt sorry for her in this story. I know people have said that any 13 year old would get weirded out by thier friend wetting the bed and I don't disagree. I think it's the fact that her friends go out of their way to make sure everybody knows about it that kills me. It also makes me wonder why she became friends with Laine again. Claudia- I thought this was really sweet. I liked how it showed Claudia's talent and that she almost started crying when she realised that she had done the assignment wrong. I'm still like that now! Jessi- I skimmed this chapter and didn't like it all that much. Logan- I know some people have called him a stalker but I thought it was sweet. I like how he gets weirded out when he goes into Claudia's bedroom and when someone nearly says 'bra-strap' Mallory- I was so Mallory in school ,it's not even funny. Shannon- I didn't really find out anything new about Shannon from this so I thought it was a bit meh Dawn- I loved this one. From the regular series I never would have known that Dawn's parents divorce was quite so horrible and that they seriously seemed to hate each other. It would make you wonder how they seem to be civil to each other in the normal series. Mary-Anne- Sweet story but a little bit boring. I thought the ones from Mary Anne's book were way better.

^ Agree on all except I did like Jessi's a lot and actually thought Shannon's gave me a much different impression of her than in Shannon's Story (I wish I would have stuck with this one ;D). I also thought Logan was sweet and found it funny how he kept saying "Stacey-or-Tracey." ;D As for Dawn's parents, I was also suprised with the hostility and have to give them a lot of credit for putting aside their differences to work together for the good of the kids later. At least that's how it seemed.

I really liked this book! I want to read it again soooo bad now! I only found it recently, and I loved it. I really liked Claudia's story, and I thought her picture was ingenious! Meanie teacher! What grade was she, like, kindergarten or grade one or something? I would think that the teacher would be like 'Sweetie, we meant something along the lines of a drawing of yourself, but this is great!' or something. Then again, my grade one teacher made a girl in my class cry. This girl came running up to the teacher going 'Miss, Miss, I made you a picture!' The teacher was like 'Does this have anything to do with school work? No." And then she threw it in the garbage! She was not a nice person.

^ Definitely. People like that shouldn't be teachers.

my fifth grade teacher told me she wished i'd never transferred to her school. and i was like "me too." I like my old school, and I miss my grandma, and you are mean and the kids here are mean and I don't like it. then she took my new cinderella pen that I spent 2.50 on from the disney store and threw it away.
Then my mom said I shouldn't talk to people of the clergy like that.

^ Agreed. Teachers should be nice! Oh, aln, love the Ballet class signature! 'Use zee onkles' lmao! Edit: Just remembered a story my sister told me. She was in French Immersion for a while, but she quit because she was having trouble. Well, apparantly, the teacher was an ass, anyway. She said to a girl, when she got the answer wrong, 'what colour is your hair?' the girl was like 'brown' and she was like 'are you sure?' insinuating that her hair was blonde and she was dumb

Boy, that really gives me an example of what NOT to do. I"m in my senior year of an Early Childhood Ed. degree. I never want to be as mean to a child as your teachers have been to you guys. Penny, that teacher sounds wretched. There was no reason for her to be that way. Greer, your teacher should have just said Thank You. Good grief!!
