I never got a barfed-on book, but I have one somewhere with a crushed daddy longlegs spider between the pages. Unfortunately, I wigged out and hurled the book and it eventually got mixed in with all the other books...so I have no idea which one is contiminated, beyond it being one of the LS books. Ah well, I don't reread those much anyway

^ Ew! lol. one of those books I found the other day has a picture of a kitty inside (a real one, and it's cut around the shape, I think it might be a simple Valentine or something, because it looks awfully familiar.. lol).

^ That is gross.... One time, I got a nice surprise in a LS book my aunt had gotten me from a second hand store. I was having a really bad day and opened the book and found a "What Would Jesus Do?" bookmark, which just kind of suddenly gave me a different perspective on everything and made me feel better. ;D

^ Same here Although... Not the notebook pages, but in my copy of Sea City here we come, the front page has a sticker, which is a gift sticker, which says something like "To my love Kylie, from Daniel." This boy I liked in Grade Six! Haha, in my hand writing of course. I saw it on a reread recently, and I was so embarassed! Lol

^ lol that's awesome.
I've been getting BSC books from the library recently and I actually found one that had the journal pages filled out! I think the girl was 9 at the time. She listed the date and would be in her mid-20's now. I meant to look her up on Facebook, because I'm a huge nerd and look everyone up, but I forgot to and returned the book. She had mentioned how horrible the previous year was because her parents had just gotten divorced, etc.

I never found anything weird in any of my books but one time I checked out Karen's Pen Pal from the library and somebody colored all of the pictures of Karen and Maxie with crayons lol. Drove me crazy because I can't stand to see things like that in books but at least whoever did them colored them right (Karen's dress was purple like in the description and Maxie's hair was the right shade of red and everything was colored according to the book descriptions) ;D.

I picked up a copy of #10: Logan Likes Mary Anne! at the thrift store today (I have a copy with the old cover, but this one had the new cover) and this was written in the notebook pages in the back:
"The biggest crush anyone ever had on me was when John liked me. When I found out this person had a crush on me, I got angry because he's ugly. My friends thought I should be real angry."

That's awesome. I know a lot of you don't like your books to be written in, but I wish every one of mine was filled up with stuff like that.

I actually found one of MY OWN notebook pages, filled out from Kristy's Worst Idea. I still have my original version (and you can tell by looking at it). I remember I got this from my sister's best-friend at the time, who just gave it to me. I remember being like, "Wow. Thank you!" thinking it was such a big deal. When in reality, she probably didn't care less and I think just bought this book because it was book #100 and had the sparkly cover (she was in Grade 7 by then).
Anyway, this is what mine says (complete with spelling errors): KRISTY'S WORST IDEA
I am 11 and in the 6th grade (Yes I was still reading BSC in Grade 6, haha) I got this BSC book from: a friend The place where I read most of this book is: at home My favourite part was when: they got back together If I could change anything in this story, it might be the part when: Kristy disbaines the club My favourite character in the Baby-sitters Club is: Mary Anne The BSC member I am most like is: Mallory because I LOVE to read and hate my looks (awe!)
Kristy thought that breaking up the BSC was a great idea... but it ended up being her worst idea ever! This is what I think about the BSC breakup: It's dumb! The BSC is such a big success (to my 11 year old self)
Without the BSC, parents would have to call sitters individually. If I needed a sitter, the BSC member I would call first would be: Mary Anne/Kristy
because: they are my favorite members (I don't think that was particularly true, in the case of Kristy. I do like her. I think I picked her as the sitter I could individually)
Kristy's Worst Idea is the 100th BSC book in the series, Of the one hundred BSC books, I have read this many: 128 (I guess I was counting mysteries and Super Specials)
And I want to read: a lot more.
My favourite BSC book (so far) is: Mary Anne's Book because: I liked reading about her life story
