I have one book (don't remember which one atm) that the previous owner filled in the notebook pages and said something about this boy that she has a big crush on because he's "so fine." She was 13, so it felt like reading something Claudia or someone would have written. (Fewer misspellings than Claud thugh ) I recently read one where I wrote that my favorite sitter was Mary Anne (still true) and that she was the one I was the most like because we both knew what it was like "to be in love." LOLOL. I have no idea who I was in love with at the time, except maybe JC from 'NSync.

I have a few that have been written in. There's one can't remember which without looking that a little girl wrote in saying she was 8 and in third grade and that the book had taken her 2 days to read which made her really happy. I read it and thought that's so cute - I read it in 45 minutes

This isn't a notebook page, but I was reading my copy of Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade, and on the part at the end of chapter two where Stacey gives the pop quiz about which girl picked which costume, the person who owned this book before me penciled in some answers very lightly.

I feel terrible for whoever got my old, original BSC books. When I told my mom I didn't want to get rid of them, it was for two reasons. The nostalgia factor, yes, but also because I wrote and colored and drew and did ungodly things to those books. I was a terrible child like that. To whoever has those now: I AM SO SORRY.
I distinctly remember coloring an entire page in Logan Likes Mary Anne with an orange crayon, drawing people and other things if the end of the chapter had a big white space, circling/underlining passages I liked best, and a ton of other things. I was so, so bad.
In my copy of Abby's Lucky Thirteen, from the original owner:
If I could write a Baby-sitters Club book it would be about: "A Big huge sleepover"
I guess the kid didn't read #45.

I remember reading the back of one of the notebook entries I wrote -- for a book I still have my original copy of -- and under "Which BSC character are you most like and why?" I put down that I'm like Mallory because I like to read and hate my looks. Reading it now makes me feel bad for my little self, especially since now, as an adult, I'm attractive. It's a shame how many of us are so hard on ourselves as kids.

I did fill out the notebook pages. When, I first bought the new cover books. Don't remember, what I wrote down. So far, the used books, that I bought. No one has filled them out. In Karen's Plane Trip. Someone did the games in the back of the cover.

(x-posted from the thread for #107):
In the notebook pages in the back of my copy of #107 (Mind Your Own Business, Kristy!), the book's previous owner wrote:
"The perfect girl for Charlie would be me Melissa, because I am pritty."
She also wrote that she's 13-years-old, received the book from the Easter Bunny, and she's most like Kristy because "I am loud & bossy".

I found one filled out the other day, it was kinda funny, kinda sad, I'll post it later, but I looked the girl up on Facebook and really wanted to message her that I had her old book but though that might be weird. But since obviously its not that weird cause other people have done it. Now I will have to message her. on a side note, i looked this girl up on myspace and sent her a message, but she never wrote back. i just wanted to let her know that i had her book. [/quote]

I LOVE the original cover art. No offense to Hodges, but I feel like the original artist(s?) did a much better job at making the girls look like 11, 12, and 13 year old girls. Aw nice 80's stacey pic I've always loved that sweater/outfit on the first book cover

From my copy of Stacey McGill, Super Sitter:
Right now, I am saving money or want to save money so I can get alot of money
If I could take anyone for a special night out, it would be Pete Currie Some of the things I would do with this person are kiss them. If I could go anywhere in the world on a date, I would go to Africa with Pete Currie.
I hope she got to go to Africa, and I hope she eventually got to kiss Pete Currie!

Some of these in the back of the book are great!
