I kinda like the mystery Mary Anne tries to investigate if just for that terribly lame picture of the "ghost" that's included in one of her chapters. Ooh, scary.

It's a better nickname for Priscilla than "Prissy" would be, anyway. Prissy makes me think of Gone With the Wind.

And I like how Jessi and Dawn learned lessons about themselves that they apparently forgot by the time they got back to Stoneybrook. *gigglesnort* Not that I remember what Dawn's lesson was, either. Did she learn that she sucks? Did she learn that she doesn't like the cold?

^ What was Dawn's plot in this one? I barely remember anything about it except MA's letters to Logan and the girl named Pinky who hurt her ankle and something about Claudia falling in love with the married ski instructor. Oh, and Stacey falling in "luv" for the first time with the guy named Pierre. I also remember something about Kristy becoming obsessed with the contest, Mal spying and Jessi thinking Pinky was a racist. So, maybe I do remember more of it than I thought but the details are still vague. ;D I guess it's time to reread but this is more of a "winter" book for me.

her plot is that she is bad at winter sports.

And she gets in a random fight with Mary Anne when MA is too busy obsessing over Logan to give Dawn the gosh darn sympathy she deserves for falling on her butt during the skating races. Dawn declares their friendship over and MA her former friend (of course) but I'm pretty sure they make up later

^ ;D Was about to say the same thing. I rarely like Dawn's plots in the Super Specials and this one I remember as being especially bad or at least unremarkable.

I do love me some Dawn (as you all know) but she is ridiculously dramatic about the whole falling while she skated thing. I mean hello, she's from sunny southern CA no one expects her to be an Olympic skater. I did laugh tho when the little kids took skiing lessons and Stacey says they all now think they are ready to sign up for the Olympics.

^ Was she bad at that, too? That's actually kind of funny ;D Is Dawn usually pretty athletic? I don't ever remember it being mentioned.

Ooh, is this the one where she not only loses, but then accidentally knocks the whole board over? Or is that something different?
I'm a klutz (and I generally suck at Monopoly, too), so I shouldn't laugh, but I totally will anyway.

^ What did MA do? It's been forever since I've read this one. I seem to remember Kristy pushing kids into participating in the contest but don't remember anything about MA (except was this the one where she was obsessed about Logan being in Aruba, possibly with some imaginary other girl?)
