I agree with MA & Elizabeth and MA & Sharon.
Maybe one of the reasons MA didn't get really close to Sharon is because Dawn was huge a-hole about it and MA was afraid to make Dawn mad.

^ that wouldn't be very fair of dawn to claim sharon for herself, especially since dawn throws a huge fit when MA and richard are spending extra time together.

Did the Pike Triplets, Nicky, and David Michael ever hang out again after SS#1?

They were, thanks. Also, Nicky went with Linny and DM to Shadow Lake and had fought with Linny constantly. I just liked the boys banding together in SS1 and thought that could have been further developed.

i think mrs winslow and mrs austin would get along really well, since they are both artists, and live on the same block, and both families are close with the schafers. i am reading dawn's portrait right now, and i'm so upset they didn't develop this more.

After reading Summer Vacation, Kristy and Charlotte. I think despite Char possibly infringing on Kristy a lot (especially in the beginning), the two of them probably bonded more than they had before the experience.

I found this at last. I said in the "Kristy and the Secret of Susan" thread I wish Kristy and James Hobart had had more interactions. I loved their talks in "Secret" and thought it was sweet how James cared about Susan and came to say goodbye to her. I wonder if he or Kristy ever asked the Felders about her? Probably not, because then we'd have been "reminded" that Hope was supposed to be born but of course, never was. :/

I would like to see different best friend pairings.
Dawn and Stacey: They are both into looking cool and older boys. They both go back and forth between two homes. They both are newcomers to stoneybrook. Their parents both recently got divorced. They both can't eat sweets. They would have been a cute best friend pairing.
Kristy and Claudia: They are sort of opposites but i liked seeing their friendship in 107 and they grew up together and I view them as probably the two most genuine people in the BSC
Mary Anne and Mallory: They are both sensitive and quiet. They both are really sweet. I know this was never really explored but they have similar interests and I think that they pair together nicely.
Jessi and Abby: They both have good senses of humour and I think that they are the two most underdeveloped BSC characters but they would be close friends.
But then again I would like to see any realtionship developed other than Kristy/Mary Anne, Mary Anne/Dawn, Kristy/Abby, Mal/Jessi or Stacey/Claud

Kristy and Claudia would be an interesting friendship, especially if they grew bnack into each in time.

Dawn and Stacey: They are both into looking cool and older boys. They both go back and forth between two homes. They both are newcomers to stoneybrook. Their parents both recently got divorced. They both can't eat sweets. They would have been a cute best friend pairing. This is my favorite "not really developed" friendship. I don't remember which book it was (definitely one of Mary Anne's) where Dawn comes home from shopping with Stacey and they had bought matching outfits in different colors and were wondering if it would be too dorky to both wear them the next day. There were a couple of little mentions of how much one of them missed the other/thought they were great. I think part of the reason Dawn acted like a lunatic stalker in Stacey vs. the BSC was because she was really jealous. Edit, I found the book it was Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic. Page 56: "Stacey and I went to the mall today, and I got the cutest jumpsuit," she said. "It's turquoise, with a wide black belt. Wait'll you see it." "Stacey got the same one in pink. I think we're both going to wear them to school tomorrow. Or would that be dumb? Like we were trying to look like twins?"

I'd love to have seen more interaction between Mary Anne and Claudia. I know MAry Anne and Kristy were always the closer ones, but when we do see Mary Anne and Claudia spending time with each other they seem to have a very sweet friendship, I'd like to have seen more of that. Also Mary Anne and Kristy's family, we heard about her being close to Elizabeth but didn't really see much of it. I agree! I really wanted to see more of Mary Anne and Claudia - after all in the very first big fight - they were both on pretty good terms and still sat in the same room with each other - until the whole "my Mary Anne" thing... however they also shared that special friendship with Mimi, which I thought was important and wish we had seen them missing her or thinking of her together.

I wonder if Watson had known Mrs. Porter while he was growing up. If so, he never seems to say much about it but she could have been a friend of the family's.
