I don't picture Pamela to be like Karen at her old school. Karen had a charm about her (I know many of you disagree and want to vomit right now) that I don't think Pamela ever had. I feel like her cool, snotty attitude was something she brought with her to Stoneybrook, not something she formed as a coping mechanism. O/T Katie and wenonah4th have the same avatar and it's messing me up.

^That's funny Agreed, sparklymouse, Karen does have a charm that endears her to a lot of people (in LS) She and Pamela are like Kristy and Cokie...I see them acting like those two when they get to eighth grade. Now Pamela just needs a cutesy nickname for when she's older...Honey, since that's what her name means? Haha.

Haha. my old manager's name was honey, and it was freaking awkward. every time i called for her across the store, people would ask if we were in a relationship. i constantly had to explain that her name was actually honey.

I know this thread is old, but I have my two cents to add here.. I believe Pamela was a stuck up snob for real, that wasn't just Karen getting the wrong impression..hell even Nancy and Hannie dislike Pamela..also I will admit she has her nice moments, I see her as the "mean girl" of second grade..she reminds me of the girls on the American Girls movie Chrissa Stands Strong who were bullies to Chrissa and many times I am like "that snot-nose little.."

^ oh that American movie. I felt bad for the lead girl getting picked on. Not too horrible though, one of the actresses previous credits was a con artist in a suite life episode that I had watched first. Whenever I think of her, I lthink of that episode first.
Anyway, Pamela isn't horribly stuck up. She wasn't that stuck up in the kids in ms colemans class book she narrated. All of the boys seemed to have enjoyed picking on her. I think she's too used to hanging around her sister though.

Anyone also remember when Pamela called Addie weird when she barely knew her? And she was the only one who thought that?

Also, I am confused as to why she is called a best enemy instead of worst enemy, when she and Karen both despise each other, and Pam hates Natalie and was snarky towards one of the Barkan twins in Karen's New Teacher.
