That’s right, Stacey, boys are more important than your friends.
This just seemed to go round and round with Claudia giving Stacey ‘looks that could kill’ and Stacey deciding she was over Ethan and then opening that book again. Although their last fight was okay.
I think Rachel Griffen and Stacey seemed like closer friends after about two days than her and Claudia ever did. Good on her for going and making a non-babysitter friend.
Best part of the book: Realizing that there was a Friends Forever sticker in there.

The whole Stacey and Claudia fight bored me. It seemed to last for half the series - oh wait, that's because it DID. Not a fan of this one. And Jeremy seemed boring, too

Hehe, yeah. I mean, he seemed nice and enough, and cute and sweet and all that. But seriously, Pete Black showed more personality at times!

I LOVE Stacey and Claudia fighting. I didn't want them to make up.

Jeremy's whole appeal is the fact that he's a new kid. I don't know about anywhere else, but I know at my school when we got a new kid they were popular for a few weeks/months until it wore off.

Stacey and Claudia fighting was horrible! It's like there were no friendships left! I mean, I know they weren't the ONLY friendship link, but with the rest of the BSC going off and leaving the original 4, when half the group is angry with each other, then it's not very fun.

Stacey's behavior towards Ethan was pretty cold, I thought. And she sure bounces back fast! Come to think of it, wasn't she not quite broken up with Robert when she and Ethan met? I mean, it was very catty of Claudia to play the Ethan card with Jeremy, but technically they HADN'T really broken up--they'd "cooled down."
Stacey bitching about Claudia's spelling is pretty funny, though--I don't remember if it's this one or "Claudia Gets Her Guy" where she keeps spelling his name "Jermy," but that just makes me wince. If you're going to obsess about a guy, please learn to spell his name so it doesn't sound like he's crawling with bacteria.

haha jermy. i never got what the huge fuss about him was. he sounded so boring. ethan was better. and claud and stacey fighting was lame. and stacey was a b*tch but claudia was such a whiner. accept the fact that he liked stacey and not u.

If you're going to obsess about a guy, please learn to spell his name so it doesn't sound like he's crawling with bacteria. I haven't read this one in ages and don't remember it well, but I recently read Claudia Gets Her Guy, and Claudia keeps spelling Jeremy's name wrong in the note she's writing to him. The spellchecker on her computer doesn't know how to spell "Jeremy" either, which is why she decides to leave his name off it entirely, and why Alan assumes it must be for him. If it had been addressed to Jeremy, Alan would have known that Claudia had just put it in the wrong locker.

I don't get how she could spell it as "Jermy". Even if she sounded it out, surely she'd realise that she's missing a vowel?

^Are you forgetting this is Claudia we're talking about? She can't even be bothered to spell her best friends names right, nor can she even tell the difference between "who" and "how".

Not to mention she thinks chocolate should be spelled 'choklit' and cheesecake should be spelled 'chezcak'

But sometimes she shows logic... like farrow/pharaoh! But yes, I guess you guys are right Jermy should be of no surprise at all.
