^ Just checked and my copy of the Complete Guide definitely says Shannon's bday is the 17th. ;D That's what I thought. I know I saw the 8th somewhere, but obviously it was a mistake. ;D

I've heard that Shannon's story was very entertaining. If Kristy wasn't my favorite, Shannon would be. To me, she seemed to have a very interesting, but happy life. Maybe I need to read Shannon's Story.

The impression you get from Shannon's Story is that she DOESN'T have a very happy home life. Everything's tense in that household.

Okay... From the BSC's point of view Shannon seems to have a good life. Now I've never read Shannon's story, but I've heard some good things about the book. I didn't know that EVERYTHING was so tense.

well, that's probably a bit of an exaggeration. The Kilbournes did have their nice moments.

^I actually enjoyed the fact that, for Stoneybrook, the Kilbournes were a dysfunctional family.

The Kilbournes felt very real to me. My own parents stayed married, with a LOT of tension and dysfunction, for years before they split up. I could definitely identify with this family!

In most of the chapter 2's in the books, they made Shannon sound multitalented and I'm sure they mentioned that she does drama and acting in one of the books, if I'm not mistaken. We didn't hear anything about it though, and it seems to me like she is more into subjects like math, physics, astronomy etc. and can probably get a pHd and go far with it, and become some kind of scientist, doctor or teacher, or even invent a new theory.

I liked reading Shannon's Story since I liked learning about Shannon. I would've liked to see more of her. I like how involved she is in school.

It is refreshing to see a dysfunctional family in good old Stoneybrook. I don't know what it is but I just can't get myself to like Shannon. I don't know too much about her, maybe thats why? I wish there was more interaction with her and the BSC.

^ I would've liked more interaction between her and the BSC as well. Maybe there could have been more interaction between Shannon and the club if there was another Shannon book.

I read Shannon's story a week or so ago. I liked it, but I didn't think what she did was all that bad. I just thought it was dumb. I can completely relate to her wanting time away from her mom!
I wish there were more books from Shannon's POV. They should have given her a book when she took over for Dawn for awhile.

^ I wonder why they didn't. Maybe they thought that if they gave her a book, then she would have to become a permanent member.

^ I wonder why Shannon got only one book while Logan got two books.
