There was the one where I think Buddy (?) had a crush on Shannon... I don't remember which book it was.

Kristy's Mystery Admirer, I think, when he hit her on the head with a softball.

I love Shannon She should've been a regular BSC member and have her own books and everything! Her relationship with Kristy is sweet and enjoyable apart from the time they didn't get along in The Snobs.

I love thst she got along with the members as well. Didn't she really get along with Stacey in a book. That and the fact that she talked with Janine was sweet too.

^ In Mystery Admirer, during a Krusher practice or game, Shannon and Stacey talked quite a bit. Which book(s) did she talk to Janine? That seems very sweet

^ Aw, that's sweet! It does seem like Shannon and Janine have things in common. They're both smart and they love school.

I just re-read #38 Kristy's Mystery Admirer. So much Shannon! I've always liked Shannon, but I forgot just exactly how awesome she is. I had also forgotten just how much she's in this book. It's totally renewed my love for Shannon. Kristy describes Shannon's looks as being "interesting", and that she "has wide cheekbones, like that actress Meryl Streep" haha As a child, I had no idea who the eff Meryl Streep was, so it was crazy when I saw it now. I had to look up what Meryl Streep looked like back in the day. She looked like this at the time of publication:

I don't remember Shannon regularly attending meeting during Dawn's 6 month stay in California, but I guess she did (in re-reading the Super Specials now). I don't think it was for the whole time, but she still should've gotten at least one regular series book. Dawn got 2 regular series books during her California stay and even one more after her permanent move. Seems pretty unfair.
That being said, I'm actually not a huge fan of Shannon... I don't know why, but the stories she did get seemed odd to me. I never understood her behavior in Shannon's Story. I guess because of time time warp she's probably okay, but wouldn't that F stay on her permanent record? I know her mom was going to be there, but couldn't she had just not gone on the trip? It's so bizarre to me.
I did like that the Sally White story gave us some insight as to why she was so snobby to Kristy at first, but I really wanted an earlier story about her. Maybe more family-focused instead of school-focused. The fact that she didn't have a good home life was very interesting (all the BSC members had pretty good home lives, although the Schafers are debatable, with Sharon moving her kids across the country) and I wish it had been fleshed out more in her memory. I like her the most in Mystery Admirer... I like her friendship with Kristy.

^ I agree that Shannon has one of the most realistically bad family dynamics, but there were some complicated home lives early in the series. In the first 30 books Dawn and Stacey go through divorces, there are a combined 7 moves for regular series members, and Claudia and Kristy both lose a family member. Growing up I was a lot like Shannon though, so I also wish we could have seen more of her life.
