You know, I want to change my vote to Jessi It took much longer to read her entries than Claud's because of her handwriting.

Ugh. Claudia's. My head met many a desk when reading her entries, though 'Dear Mom and Dad, who are you?' is classic and I can forgive her slightly just for that gem.
(I love the whatever it's called beneath your avatar, nothingtolose18. *lol* I never get tired of that joke!)

Claudia's writing and spelling were absolutely awful. Jessi's writing was completely unrealistic for an 11-year-old, and Mary Anne's writing was too slanted, IMO. It made it hard to read. I liked Kristy's handwriting the best. Nice and neat. Her entries were the easiest ones to read. Dawn's entries were easy to read, too, for that matter.

Abby's were really easy to read too.

I always disliked Jessi's and Abby's, solely because of the handwriting. It was big and/or loopy and (for me) hard to read. I didn't mind Claudia's so much, since I could figure out what she meant by the context. She provided some good laughs, too, especially with the "who are you" thing that nothingtolose18 mentioned.

Yeah, like that one postcard in California Girls that she wrote to Janine. "Hi Janine! How are you and who are mom and dad?" Love it!

(I love the whatever it's called beneath your avatar, nothingtolose18. *lol* I never get tired of that joke!) Thanks! I know, cracks me up every time someone makes fun of it And yes, that whole 'who are you Mom and Dad? Who are you, Janine?' thing, bahaha! Best. Mistake. Ever! The aftermath of that time Claud hit her head... her memory fails her sometimes...

^ My favourite Claudia mistake was the time she said she "licked" the big brown dog in mystery #7. I always crack up when I read it...and it's making me giggle right now! ;D
I'm going to have to vote for Jessi in this one, though. Her writing really annoys me and I usually can't be bothered to read through it.

Jessi's were the only ones I usually skipped when I was younger. It was almost impossible to read, and Claudia's were usually funny enough that they were worth it.

^I like Claudia's notebook entry. She is a lot funnier than the other girls make her seem.

^but annoying to read all the same. bad handwriting + bad spelling = annoying, no matter how good the humor. ;D

^ I actually can overlook that stuff because it adds to the humor for me. I'm not sure whose are worst. Maybe Abby's or Shannon's because I don't remember any of them being all that funny or interesting (Abby's humor doesn't appeal to me)

^ I think that Abby tries to be funny and Claud is just expressing herself.
