^ Agree. Claud is just trying to finish the entries, I think. ;D I know she hates writing in the notebook.

When rereading the books I've gotten to a point where I just skip them, go straight for the chapter. But if I'm in a mood to read them I read/skim them all, sometimes skipping out Jessi and Claudia's. And Mary Anne's was quite hard to read sometimes too.

I used to skip the notebooks when I was reading them the first time because I didn't know how to read cursive yet. I still have a habit of skipping past things like pictures and drawings and notebook entries -- even when reading textbooks. I know, I miss things this way, but I can't help it. I dn't learn from pictures.

^ I always skipped pictures and always have. Now, though, I'm starting to look at them sometimes because they give me a good laugh (especially in LS books ;D)

^ I used to skip the notebook entry chapters too because I had thought that they were part of a single storyline and got frustrated sometimes when they didn't make sense.

I noticed, while reading 'Claudia and Crazy Peaches',that Mrs. Kishi's handwriting looked a LOT like MA's. Hmmmm....

^ I didn't notice Mrs. Kishi's writing. Where is it in the book? I'll have to look. I'm always interested to see the different writing. ;D

Georgio's grandmother sends Claudia a postcard at the end of Baby-sitters' Haunted House and her handwriting looks pretty much exactly like Mary Anne's...

I actually didn't mind any of the notebook entries. I liked them all! But I chose Claudia's only because it took me a little longer to read hers than the others. I like Mary Anne's the most, then Jessi and Mallory's. My handwriting actually looks like a cross between Mary Anne and Jessi's in cursive only smaller, and is very similar to Mallory's in print.

It's probably difficult to print a really wide variety of handwritings.

the art director guy probably just figured that their target audience would not still be reading them well into their twenties and therefore no one would notice. ;D

^ Agree. Claud is just trying to finish the entries, I think. ;D I know she hates writing in the notebook. When I opened my first SS,(And my second BSC book 'New York,New York',and I saw a lot of Claud's handwriting at the start,I was like,"Am I going to read all of this?". I had a really hard time reading it. Her handwriting's so small, and it's kinda hard to understand. ;D
