Claudia-speak looks a lot like netspeak to me. And I use netspeak just to fit in. If I use proper English (or try to) then I come off as a little condescending or on a high-horse.

I really don't understand some of Claudia's spelling mistakes. I ebooked 'Kristy and the Mystery Train' recently and in one of her notebook entries, she goes, 'Party, party, praty.'
Why would she spell the word one way two times, and then use a completely different spelling? And 'praty' doesn't even sound like 'party.' Her spelling has always mystified me.

I know what you mean, but apart from a handful of abbreviations (esoteric ones to a given board, plus things like DH, DD, LOL, etc.) I don't use it at all. However, I do occasionally type sentence fragments and use too many ellipses!

Claudia. It's too hard to decipher the meaning.

I would have to pick Claudia's, mostly because of the spelling mistakes (though the mistakes give me a good laugh).

Jessi's its too hard to read. I don't mind Claudia's handwriting although her spelling is atrocious.

Maybe she wrote that entry too fast and spelled it differently because of it? I dunno.

It's like Claudia makes typos...on handwritten stuff. Odd.
