^ I dont blame you!Even though she is my favorite, sometimes when I read how she operates sometimes,I just want to slap her.I used to like Stacey the best because she likes clothes and from New York like me.i used to like Logan too.The only reason I didnt totally hate MA because she looked cute on covers and like cats. I never really liked her when I was younger.I grew to like her now as my favorite.Seriously, the ghostwriters exaggerate a little too much on her sensitivity so people can know her mainly for that.

I like Mary Anne.
She's so organized and sensitive.
The BSC needed someone like her.
I do agree that sometimes she seems self-centered, though.
I think that she the only BSC member that seems "real"(besides the fact that her dad married Dawn's mom - who just happends to be his high-school sweetheart).

I think that she is real "choosey" about what she is sensitive about, and some of her selections and the way she displays her sensitivity towards it just seems a little odd to me.

Um, I have a question. The books say that Alma played basketball,so I guessing she was wasn't short and Richard doesn't seem like a short man.Why Mary Anne is short then?

When did Alma play basketball? Cause size so doesn't matter in most high schools. College, yeah. Or maybe Mary Anne's got short grandparents. You don't inherit all traits directly from what your parents are.

^ I know that but the grandma didn't seem short in the illustrations and I don't know about the grandpa.

She has two of each though. Someone could be short. Plus she just turned 13 and probably hasn't hit her growth spurt yet. She'd probably get taller than Logan in high school and he'd break up with her because he'd be too self conscious to have a girlfriend who was bigger than him. He seems like that type. Look at me, hating Logan again...

I agree about the growth spurt. I was always taller than my best friend in high school, and now she's taller than me! Some people just hit growth spurts later than others. Mary Anne's probably one of those people.

Almost all the girls I know stopped growing in 7th or 8th grade, including me. It is nice to think that MA will grow a little taller though-it might give her a little more confidence in herself.

I wish I would have stopped growing by then. I was already 5'10" by the time I was 13 and finally reached my adult height of 6'1 by 16.
