Mine would have to be Mary Anne Saves The Day. Because it was the very first BSC book that I read.

I chose #4, MA Saves the Day. MA shows that she can stand up for herself, Dawn is introduced and they discover Richard and Sharon's relationship, and of course, there is awesome BSC fighting.
I love all 4 of the initial books, though they are all great.

Does anyone know if MA Saves the Day is any good as a graphic novel?

It is quite hilarious. But the novel is much better and funnier.

I guess I pick Mary Anne Saves the Day. If nothing else, it gave me the line "Sheep are in."

^Lol. I remember that line. Wasn't it Claudia that was wearing something with sheep on it?

Mary Anne Saves The Day because Mary Anne stands up for herself.

I voted for Mary Anne Saves the Day. I love the scene where she meets Dawn!

As much as I enjoyed KGI, the book that began it all, I voted for #2. Phantom Phone Calls is just so very funny.

^ Zoar, I expected you to vote for Kristy's Great Idea since that's one of your favorite books.

Anzhuana, you are so very right. Kristy's Great Idea is my favorite book of the entire series, no question. I picked #2 for this because of its humor and also it's one bsc book, along with maybe IA, where after reading it, I actually consider whether or not to immediately re-read. Aside from Kristy's behavior toward the Feldman kids, this one has so many classic scenes, bringing each of the 4 girls to "life." There's MA and her "surefire alarms." Kristy's "fright night" with Morbidda Destiny and Boo Boo, also the memory of Kristy standing up to Alan Gray when they were younger. Stacey's first sitting job with Charlotte, and Claudia and Mimi have a few great talks.

I haven't ever read #3, but I can't choose between #1,#2 & #4! I think I love them all equally.
