Which parents do you most enjoy reading about as a couple? I put some of the ex's in there just for fun ;D I'll be surprised if someone votes for Elizabeth and Patrick but.... ;D

I chose Richard and Sharon because I love their interaction and the way they compliment each other. But I also really like Watson and Elizabeth and the way they share responsibilities and seem to work well as a "team". Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey and Mr. and Mrs. Pike also seem like great couples. I love it how Mrs. Pike has a "talk" with her husband in Poor Mallory instead of just letting him mope around.

I chose the Pikes. They seem a lot like my parents except mine were a little stricter.

Wow, I was really torn between Richard and Sharon and Watson and Elizabeth, but I ended up voting for Richard and Sharon for the same reasons aln1982 stated.

I chose the Pikes. They seem a lot like my parents except mine were a little stricter. So you didn't get to eat orange popsicles for breakfast??? ;D I also really like the Pikes and their interaction as a family. I didn't at first but they slowly grew on me. So did the Ramseys.

I was wondering earlier how the parents met each other. Is it ever explained in the books?

^ Good question. I don't think it is. I'm not even sure how Watson and Elizabeth met. Sharon and Richard are the only ones I know for sure.

^ I think that Claudia's parents met in college? I thought I remember reading that in Claudia & World'd Cutest Baby or was it Crazy Peaches? I'll have to check.

I voted for the Ramseys just because I really like the whole Ramsey family dymanic and think their relationships with each other weren't explored enough. They seemed like a really close, fun family. I mean we had to deal with countless subplots about the friggin Thomas-Brewers and Pikes, why not the Ramseys ever?!

I was deciding between Mr. and Mrs. Pike and Elizabeth and Watson, and went with E and W. I've been reading LS books lately, and they are always "talking with their eyes" in the words of Karen It's cute when in one of the earlier books--probably Kristy's Great Idea or Kristy's Big Day--Kristy's like "okay, my mom's about to make goo-goo eyes at Watson now" at one point during dinner. I also like the Ramseys (always kind and caring it seemed) and Jack and Carol (they seemed pretty "real").

Looks like Watson and Elizabeth have the most fans. I also love them in the LS books, especially ;D Just like Watson in general. Richard, too, which might be why I like him and Sharon. The Pikes and Ramseys were also my top choices. I'm so surprised no one voted for Patrick and Elizabeth yet - he he he ;D

I thought about voting for them as a joke but changed my mind.
