^ It's actually delicious. I was afraid to try it for the longest time.

I just reread Kristy at Bat and love the food descriptions from the camp. Also enjoy the description of the french toast that I just read, though I can't remember which book. Kristy at Bat always makes me hungry for a good breakfast, a ham sandwich, or a steak dinner. Also, I never knew what Chicken Cordon Bleu was but it sounds good.

Isn't Chicken Cordon Bleu just chicken breast stuffed with ham and swiss cheese? It sounds like kind of an odd combination, but, yeah it's tasty.

^ I think so. At least that was what I got when I ordered it from Arby's a very long time ago. And one thing I loved was Mari Drabek's brocoli pizza in Claudia & Recipe for Danger. Sorry, if it has been mentioned already. I didn't bother to read thru the entire thread. And didn't the BSC hate anchovies on pizza? It is such a typical thing to hate. It isn't quite bad.

^ I love the mentions of broccoli pizza since I love broccoli. I have never tried anchovies but I don't think they sound all that gross. Think it's one of those things people just like to make a big deal out of - like hating something like spinach (which I happen to love)

I love spinach as well, most people think I am weird, but I think it is delicous in a lot of things!

Now I'm hungry for Cambells microwavable Italian Wedding Soup with the meatballs and spinach in it Or maybe I'll just settle for plain spinach at my next dinner. I always love the food descriptions in Little Sister books. They are always eating spagetti, which sounds good to me. Nannie also makes some good food in those. The only food I don't like that they eat a lot of in LS books is peanut butter. But at least there is no mention of Claudia's stale junk. Maybe I'll have to have spinach and spagetti for supper, though that sounds like a gross combo

I remember Karen putting peanut butter on her celery sticks in some books, and I wanted to try it - it didn't really spread on well, and was kind of slippery and just wasn't that great. In the words of Mallory, I thought that was totally stale!

^Me, too! it's so good! It is kind hard to get the PB on sometimes, but you learn how to just kinda... glop it on

I want to give it another chance, so I will definitely glop it on thicker next time I got the idea for peanut butter and banana sandwiches from Karen too, and that's one of my favorite food combos...

Honestly I don't even care about the celery, it's just an excuse to eat peanut butter! Sometimes I just dig the celery into the PB jar haha I live alone though so it's okay, I'm not sharing PB with anyone!
