Just the thought of eating egg anything with a glass of milk makes me want to hurl.

Just read MA and the Playground Fight and found some good sounding food descriptions. Of course, I always love Pizza Express and Victoria's barbeque and all of the "American" food that she wanted to eat sounded good, too. Some of Dawn's didn't sound too bad, either, though not as good as it does sometimes.

There are some pretty good food descriptions in Dawn Schafer, Undercover Babysitter--I like the breakfast Dawn makes for her mom, Mary Anne, and Richard, and the mention of the picnic lunch at Livingston house--Italian bread, cheese, fruit, chocolate cookies...yum.

^ That does sound good Anyone else notice that Dawn and MA books seem to have the best food descriptions or is it just the ones I've read lately? I know there are a few Claud books with good descriptions but usually her food sounds gross to me (chocolate does go stale despite her belief..... ;D)

^I think Mary Anne books have the best food descriptions, and sometimes Dawn, but not when she's eating sprouts or whatever.

^Speakinng of Dawn's food descriptions, I think that, understandably, a lot of of her food sounds best when she's describing it.

I just read "Stacey's Lie." Seafood is just about my favorite, so Claudia's dinner at the casino (the lobster) sounded .... heavenly (just like Claud herself said!)
I think my favorite food descriptions, though, are Mary Anne's outing with her dad in "Mary Anne's Makeover" and the picnic in "Dawn and Whitney..." Oh, and all of the food in "Dawn on the Coast"!

I have been really sick of pizza lately for some reason, but today I was reading a section where they were describing cheesy pizza and I got the biggest craving for it again!

^ My mom always made me drink ginger ale for any sickness I might have had (colds, flu, stomach cramps, anything). So now all I have to do is look at a bottle of GA and I will start feeling ill. lol I don't like to drink cranberry juice because it reminds me of bladder infections. I've only ever had a bladder infection once, but I still don't like to think about them.

^I totally forgot about the cranberry juice/bladder infection thing, but yeah that's a really bad association.

I always think Dawns food sounds good. Her books do seem to have a lot of food descriptions, I guess because the "weird" food she eats is one of the things that separates her from the other girls, so they make it a point to mention it. As for Stacey's Lie, if I ate seafood I would think that all sounded good... but they eat sooooo much in that book! Thick soups, main course and then dessert... it sounds like a LOT when they actually say what it all is.

I actually like Dawn's food descriptions too, I always thought they sounded good. I am glad I am not the only one.
