By high school graduation, none of them will really be friends anymore and will be embarking for their different futures. But they'll meet up at graduation (Dawn will be there for MA and Mallory and Jessi will show up for old time's sake), say their goodbyes and become great friends on FB. Yep, I can see that but somehow I doubt that Jessi would be there. She'd probably be traveling around and wouldn't be there in time. Logan would be there but probably wouldn't really talk to them. Shannon would probably be there too to watch Kristy, Anna, and Abby graduate. I like to think Mal would've moved on, too, because her friends at Riverbend seem like genuinely nice people and let's face it, if you don't go to high school with your friends you're less likely to stay friends with them, especially at age 11. Mal still has another two years of middle school to go (post time-warp, obvs), so it's unlikely she would have stayed friends with the BSC even if she hadn't left SMS. I like to think she would've got over the Spaz Girl crap eventually but might've clung on to the BSC for old times' sake. Now, though, I'm glad she found her people and I imagine her graduating from Riverbend with flying colours and going on to do a degree in creative writing interstate somewhere, away from all the responsibilities of the Pike family, but she'd still come back to visit.

I know this is about the bsc in high school but what are the odds of Karen and her friends still being together? With the options of middle schools I can't see them being friends at all during school and maybe at home.

With the options of middle schools I can't see them being friends at all during school and maybe at home. Honestly, I think eventually Karen would've drifted apart from her friends. Even though she lives next to Hannie and Nancy at her two houses. I think that as they got older, her bossiness may have been a turnoff. Karen would eventually make more friends, though. I don't see her becoming super popular, but she'd probably be like Kristy, find a small group of friends, maybe start another babysitting club.

Agreed. I don't see Karen, Hannie, and Nancy remaining friends. Karen's bossiness as stolenbooks pointed out could be tiresome and a turnoff. I can also see Karen making more friends easily. No, she wouldn't be too popular, but she'd form a clique, perhaps start a babysitting business or some sort of other organization, and tak the route Kristy took.

I can't see Karen making a club like the bsc though. More like a Shannon and join a bunch of clubs. Maybe she would do theatre but be an average student. As some said in another post, beg to go to SMS like Kristy.
Nancy, Bobby, and most of her class would probably go to Kelsey if they go the public school route. Nancy would maybe join a book club or something similar (yearbook? Newspaper?). I can't see her acting or dancing in the later years. Especially after a couple of LS books making her out to be the quiet and shy friend.
Hannie, Pamela, and a few kids that want to go to private school would be at SD. I could see Hannie being the popular one over Karen. Probably excell at school within a private school setting. Makes friends with everyone easily and just an all around fun person. I can't seem to make any of them mean and snobby.

I think Kristy would be one of those kids who's involved in everything and everyone knows but they don't like her all that much. She seems like she already gets on people's nerves. I see Jessi becoming slightly more popular and kind of leaving Mallory behind. Mallory would discover Dungeons and Dragons. Kristy doesn't get on peoples nerves!!!

Alright so I had a run in with some I went to school with. Who do you suppose would have been the ones to stop talking all together?

I think Kristy and Stacey, they seem to be complete opposites, and wouldn't have much in common as they got older. I'm sure Kristy and Mary Anne would stay friends, but I wonder about Claudia and Stacey. At least we know Mary Anne and Dawn would definitely have to keep in touch!

Claudia and Stacey would have had a falling out probably. All of the older girls with Mallory and Jessi probably too.

Abby would have just drifted away to the soccer team. I don't think she cared enough to put effort into her friendships.

^ There was also the fact that, if I remember correctly, Kristy wanted to be friends with Anna first. Abby wasn't even her first choice for a friend either with her.

^thats right, I could see them being friendly but nothing deeper than that. Anna seemed to want musical buddies. Sometimes it seemed like she could barely tolerate Abby, lol.

Stacey would get involved the hard partying crowd in high school. Claudia would dropout of school in her sophomore year and get a job at Walmart to the disgust of her parents. Kristy and Abby will get more involved in sports and Kristy will join the student council.
Mallory will cut off ties completely with the rest of the BSC, with the possible exceptions of Stacey and Mary Anne. She will flourish in Riverbend. Jessi and her family will move back to Oakley before the ninth grade, so she will never see the halls of Stoneybrook High.
Mary Anne will get involved with home ec and similar activities and will graduate with honors. Dawn will be sent to juvie during her freshman year after starting a riot at Vista for violently protesting turkey for the school's Thankgiving Day charity (or something similar to that).
Logan will be at the peak of his game at high school. But he quickly blows it when he knocks up Cokie Mason and gets involved with the Badd Boyz again.

Kristy would be on the softball team, be class president from freshman to senior year, be in a steady relationship with Bart, and continue babysitting.
Mary Anne would be that girl everyone sees but doesn't know her very well. She would be in book club and be the librarian's aid. She might be class secretary from freshman to senior year. She would be single all throughout high school.
Stacey would be popular but she wouldn't ditch her friends (Kristy, MA, Claudia, etc.) but wouldn't be that close with them. She would be a Mathlete, class treasurer from freshman to senior year, and take all sorts of math and science classes. She would go from guy to guy and be labeled as a "sl*t". She would continue to babysit Charlotte.
Claudia wouldn't be popular but wouldn't be a loner either. She would just float from group to group. She'd try her very best in the fundamental classes and maintain a C average. She would take tons of art electives. She'd be in art club and win lots of art contests and be the art teacher's assistant. She would create a good, impressive art portfolio and get accepted into an amazing art school by the time she graduates. She'd also go from guy to school and be labeled as a "sl*t".
Dawn would be in California and she was already in high school in California Diaries.
Mallory would be a loner and wouldn't have any friends except for MA. She would also be in book club plus creative writing club. She would take lots of writing and reading electives. She might be in drama club and decorate the sets or work with lights or something. She also might be in yearbook club and write the captions under the photos. She would be in a steady relationship with Ben throughout high school. She would still be stuck being a 2nd mother to her brothers and sisters.
Jessi wouldn't really be friends with Mallory anymore but still be acquaintances. She would be an actor in drama club. She would definitely be in ballet club. She would take dancing electives. She might be in cheerleading or gymnastics or both. She wouldn't be involved in any relationships. She might occasionally babysit and she would hangout with her family a lot.
Abby would be like Kristy but she'd be on soccer and track team, be class vice president, and constantly rival with Kristy. She would realize that she is a lesbian and would date a few girls throughout high school.
Shannon would be sent to a prestigious academy outside of Connecticut and excel academically and socially.

I could see Mary Anne getting another boyfriend but likely being the opposite of what Logan was like. Shannon is kind of in high school Stoneybrook Day is k-12. Mallory would come completely out of her shell. She actually, dare I say it?, popular at Riverbend.

I agree with that Claudia one so much, her parents wouldn't let her drop out so she would just throw all of her ambitions into art.
