If you're talking about the Friends Forever series, the original four members...Kristy, Mary Anne, Stacey and Claudia...are still quite active in the BSC. Not in the same way they once were, though, to the point that I temporarily forgot about that aspect of the series, haha. The focus had already shifted from the club and sitting to their personal lives. True...I didn't like the entire storyline of Stacey and Claudia fighting over some guy...that was a stupid storyline and something that was more fitting of a Sweet Valley book, not a BSC book. But I am glad that once Mary Anne and Logan broke up, the series didn't hook Mary Anne up with another boyfriend too soon. There is life outside of boyfriends and dating for teenage girls.

As a Logan hater, I was glad they broke up, but I did find her later flirtation with Cary Retlin interesting, although the series ended before anything substantial happened.

Having an idea of what Dawn is like in CD now, I'd say that she'd be a bit of a loner. Like she'd be that type of person that drifts from group to group. She'd probably be the type to keep certain friends close like Sunny.

I know I’m double posting but I’m curious how long would it take until the girls stopped hanging out in high school? Would they make it all four years or would it stop as early as the first week? Assuming the friends forever series didn’t happen.

I think the BSC would eventually split up, as everyone takes on too much other interests and has other conflicts. Kristy would be the most devastated, of course. They'd all still babysit on their own though.
Kristy loves being in charge so I can see her running for student council. She'd also be on the softball team and would be captain her senior year.
Abby would be on the soccer team, of course. She wins the Class Clown title of their senior class.
I can actually see Jessi becoming a cheerleader or joining the dance team. She'd also appear in school musicals, since she's such a good dancer.
Claudia would finally get her sh!t together. After getting sent back to 7th grade, that scares her into doing better and finally lets Janine and her parents help her with homework with minimal complaining. Stacey also becomes her math tutor. She isn't the best student but she definitely tries hard.

And if the BSC club did end, I think Mary Anne and Stacey along with Jessi and Mallory would be the most devastated. But yes, I see Kristy becoming active in the student council along with other things, so I cannot see her being totally devastated and depressed over the BSC ending as some fanfictions depict. I see Mary Anne becoming active in the newspaper and probably any humanitarian organizations SHS has.

I'm stuck on the theory that she has ADHD and being on meds would really help her out.

And that would make a good Very Special Episode book, Claudia is diagnosed with ADHD. Ann Martin's biography said her sister Jane has dyslexia and it mentioned some BSC fans think Claudia's dyslexic, which would explain why her spelling is so awful. And we always hear in the books that Claudia isn't stupid, she just doesn't apply herself. It would make sense that she has some kind of learning disability. Mallory would be the editor-in-chief of the yearbook at Riverbend. My high school had a literary magazine and I can see her running one of those too. I don't think Stacey would become Miss Popular and abandon the rest of the BSC but I can see her rekindling her friendship with Robert and his group. We've seen the authors highlight before that Stacey may think she's the most sophisticated girl in Stoneybrook but she really does have more in common with the BSC than she thinks. I believe in the Friends Forever series she and Claudia stop being friends? I never read the FF books so I'm not sure. But I can see them reuniting in high school. What about Laine, would Stacey try and be friends with her again or are they completely done?

I think Stacey and Laine are completely done, but then again I don't like Laine. Maybe they'll connect on facebook years later.

What about Laine, would Stacey try and be friends with her again or are they completely done? Stacey and Claudia re-unite...their friendship doesn't end permanently. I see Stacey and Laine kind of being done. And since high school would be so much bigger than middle school, Stacey would not be the only sophisticated student there. And with more trips into New York City, the rest of the BSC...including Jessi and Mallory would grow in sophistication.

I wonder whose friendships end permanently? I mean I can't imagine Stacey and Kristy just randomly hanging out.
Although I'd like to see Stacey and Mary Anne bonding, they would an interesting friendship to see.

Although I'd like to see Stacey and Mary Anne bonding, they would an interesting friendship to see. I actually can imagine Kristy and Stacey hanging out sometimes, despite their different personalities. At first glance, you would not imagine Kristy and Mary Anne randomly hanging out, but look how close their bond is. I agree on Stacey and Mary Anne hanging out in high school more, though. I suspect that Anna would sometimes hang out with Stacey and Mary Anne also...the three of them are the quietest members of the group and are introverted. At parties and at the mall, they'd go and have a breather from the noisy crowds. Kristy, Claudia and Abby would also hang out at most sporting events and at parties since those three are the most outgoing members of the club.

I think Kristy and Shannon would still be friends. It'd be a friendship that might be tied to their neighborhood, but they'd see each other from time to time.
