My unpopular opinion is that I don't like the Mary Anne/Logan pairing. Another unpopular opinion of mine is that my favorite super specials are BSC in the USA and Aloha BSC. These two super specials seem like they're either unfavorites or they're liked but they're not favorites.

Mine:
-Stacey is not a sl*t.
-Kristy is not a lesbian- hello, Abby is a butch(ier) version of Kristy and no one calls her out. Abby is... Anti romance? in 127.
-MA is oversensitive. And has... Issues.
-Dawn I feel bad for: so inconsistantly written. Same token, I hate Mr.Winslow.
-Jessi is a fun character. Her non special episode books are intresting. (I always imagine her going to a fame type school after BSC)
-Everyone hates Mallory because she was them at 11.
-Pikes are decent overworked parents.

^ I actually agree with a lot of those! I don't hate Mallory, though...never have. I think I actually like her because she was me at 11, rather than hate her because of it.

I agree with a lot of things you wrote, otempora541, like you don't think Stacey is a sl*t. If Stacey was really one, she would have had sex with at least one of her boyfriends. Since she never had sex, she doesn't qualify as a sl*t.

Since she never had sex, she doesn't qualify as a sl*t. Eh...I disagree with that statement in general, but this isn't the place to debate the meaning of that particular word.

There's a part I forgot to mention about who someone considers a sl*t but I don't want to get into any debates on whether it fits or not, so I won't say anything at all about that.

Mary Anne IS oversensitive. I don't think that's an unpopular opinion. She's quite emotional and overreacts easily.

I suppose that my unpopular opinions, which I've probably already mentioned on this thread, is that I like the changes that the introduction of Abby and the switch to the Friends Forever model brought to the franchise. I don't like the baby-sitting bits very much, so less of it was cool with me.

I don't think anzuhana means having sex means you're a sl*t, just that since Stacey has not had sex at all, being called anything close to a sl*t is ridiculous.
I think when people snark on Stacey in this area, they mean she will grow up to be one (which I disagree with), not that the label applies to her now.

I like a lot of Friends Forever books because they do away with the baby sitting aspect, and having just four girls to focus on was more intresting then 8.

I think that people mean it either way, because, as Stacey said herself, she's had a lot of boyfriends for a 13-year-old. However, she was 13 for, oh, 20 years, so it's not so bad, when you think about it. Girl can't help being attractive, smart, and interesting.

Well, yeah, it is a running joke because she has had so many. It's like, the series lasted so long that we "grew up" with her. But I think it's a crude joke considering what a decent and wholesome girl she actually is (there are much worse RL 13 year olds!)

If Stacey had 8 boyfriends in 20 years, that works out to 2.5 years each relatinoship, hehe.
Jessica Wakefield on the other hand... ohh boy!

(edit: decided to take it to pm)
Stacey was tame, but was so was everyone else at SMS, as far as we know. The series was written so that the most scandalous thing anyone did was sneak mini wine bottles into flop socks. I can see Sunny getting into some mature sexual behavior for sure, if the CA Diaries had been written for a reading level higher than 7th grade. Same with Stacey's "bad girl" friends.
