I didn't look for a secret passage in my own house because I knew their wasn't one. I did however in my grandparents house because I knew it was a little older.

I'd be interested to hear from someone that DID find a secret passage or room or something.

I found a secret room at my first apartment. But it wasn't like I went looking for one specifcially. We were trying to figure out why my closet looked bigger from the outside and the walls didn't really match up or something. Turns out the apartment (which was just the upstairs of a house) used to be used as a brothel, and possibly illegal gambling.
So then we had lots of jokes about finding dead hookers.

For some reason there were about a dozen phone jacks in this one room in the manse in my hometown. No one quite knew why, although there were theories.

A lot time ago, we used to have phones that had cords. You plugged the power cord into an outlet and the phone cord into the phone "jack". You can also hook up your DSL to the phone "jack" too.

it was just okay
I remember finding possibilities of a passage at my grandparent's place and our new house. Those were thing first things I'd looked for. My grandparent's house had an opening in the wall that was half my size but it was really all the space under and beyond the basement stairs for stalling things. I wanted to crawl in and look around. They also had an attic
The furnace in my house has a wall that's not really a wall and there is an opening at the top but I could never see what was behind it and forgot about it until now. It's probably nothing though I seriously believed we had a passage too at one point.

I always wanted to find a passage but my house was too little, and then too new to have a passage. I was super excited to find out that the town I lived in was once the capital of the Confederacy and two historic homes in the downtown area had an underground passageway that linked the two homes under the street. Unfortunately the people that own these homes do not conduct tours. But wouldn't it be neat to live in one of those homes?

^ I think it would be neat, provided you knew and liked the people in the house at the other end of the passage!

^It would be cool if the people in the two houses were families. Like say Jessi and Keisha's Jersey houses were connected. I wouldn't want strange people to have a secret path to me.

^Isn't Claudia talking on one on the original Phantom Phone Calls cover? So fabulous. I used to accidentally call wrong numbers on ours because I wouldn't let the wheel spin back to the beginning before I dialed each number. ;D

On a random note, I was watching a "Home Improvement" episode from the early 1990s, and Jill handed Tim the "cell phone". It was as big as my cordless phone is now! Ah, how times have changed.

^Whenever I catch an episode of Saved by the Bell I have to laugh at Zack's cell phone. It's the size of a brick and looks like it weighs that much too.

^ My dad had a phone like that, but this was less than 10 years ago. It was really more sad than funny.
