^So did I. A super special where at least a few of the BSC Members and their charges traded places with Zuni kids maybe for a week during the summer would have been awesome to read about.

Both copies are that awful orange color. One might be a little brighter than the other, but it's still a weird orange. I liked it, it made me think of the pizza toppings they wouldn't shut up about

Just finished this one again, the part i had to laugh at was at the end where, i think it was Ms Besser said to Dawn something like "Can you guys not get any older so you can babysit for my kids one day?" ..... guess she ended being pleasantly surprised then eh? ;-) I just finished this one, and that line totally stuck out to me! The exact quote is That totally had to have been an inside joke. And I too was disappointed how at the end of the book they seemed to be setting it up for a future book (with the Zuni children's principal saying that they are reserving some of the money for a future student exchange between the NM and CT schools) and then it was never brought up again! In the book, Dawn says "I hope a few older kids will be asked to come along to help!" which makes me think that they WERE planning on doing a future book with this plot. That actually sounds like a plot I would love to read. Considering how they were scraping the bottom of the barrel for plots later on, they should have used this one! It could have been a Super Special where some of the baby-sitters go to NM on the exchange, and some of the sitters stay in Stoneybrook and help host some of the NM kids...

Did you read BSC in the USA? They stop by Zuni in that.

Yeah, I read BSC in the USA where they stop to see the Zuni kids. But I would like to see a book where they follow through with the exchange program. Since they mentioned it specifically in the book, it makes me think they were planning a future plot.

I'm not sure I would have liked a Zuni super special only because it sounded like the BSC would be split up between Stoneybrook and New Mexico. I tend to not like the books where they are separated. That said, they really should have ditched either Hawaii or Europe for a more relevant story.

I would have loved a Zuni super special because it might have increased the chances of our seeing (reading about) the relative client families outside of a sitting job. ITA about ditching Hawaii and/or Europe. I would have preferred many more Stoneybrook (regular days like Snowbound or even Zuni) super specials to the fantastic realm of travelling so much or catching crooks.

Personally, I wouldn't have cared for a Zuni Super Special. I would have preferred *another* SS featuring the sitters.
Also, in regards to the book, I like how Dawn and Mary Anne look on the cover. Both of them look really pretty.
Edit to add: On the cover, it looks like Dawn is "feeling up" Mary Anne (that's the expression, isn't it? Sorry, I know this isn't very PG-13)

I don't know if I would've liked a Zuni super special. Maybe I would feel differently if such a super special was written.

Sorry, I know this isn't very PG-13) I'm pretty sure that's a kid on the cover, not Mary Anne. The brunette kid does realistically look more like a 13-year-old than an elementary schooler, but everyone, kids and sitters alike, tend to look much older according to the artist. (Plus why would Mary Anne be in her pajamas clutching a teddy bear?)

^ I thought the same thing. But then again, if *any* sitter would be crouching a teddy bear, it would be Mary Anne. Plus, I thought the jersey nightie could have been an homage to Logan (like it was one of his old jerseys or something). Haha, I'm lame.

Mary Anne wouldn't wear her pajamas in public. Remember School Spirit War?
