I always think a good stylist cuts hair well if it looks even better than the first day when it starts growing out. Though it's cool on this cover, I .liked it on future covers to follow better, like Dawn's Family Feud (is that the red dress she bought?), Maid Mary Anne and so forth. I would have loved to see the purple cable knit top she bought, it sounded pretty.

Okay so the dance in the last chapter made me chuckle. Oh and I guess Mary Anne was fully made over b/c she didn't seem to mind dancing anymore. Logan's romantic comments made me want to barf "I'd take a time machine back to the day I first saw you" gag!!!!
The outfits from the dance - interesting. What in the world is a gold lame outfit that was all sharp angle and flashy colors - that sounds hideous!

One other thing from the dance I forgot to mention. Dawn says she wishes she could go back in time 23 years to watch Sharon and Richard dancing at the January Jamboree. Sharon turned 43 in #30. I think Dawn meant 30 years. Still it was an interesting comment because neither Dawn nor MA (outside of #4) really gave much thought to their parents as young teens.
Supprazz, MA tells us, "Claudia wore a la-may (it's l-a-m-e with an accent mark on the e but I don't know how to do that on here) with all sharp angles and flashy colors." Page 132

Not as frightening as the thought of Dawn choking on an alfalfa sprout for saying mary anne has boy hair and clown makeup

Richard was sweet in this book. This was one of the few times I took Mary Anne's side. She had the right to change her look, and be happy about it.

richard was amazingly supportive in this book, but i wish he and sharon had stepped in to stop the fight. it's one thing to let the girls sort through their differences, but in this situation there was one girl who was clearly wrong. it sucks that sharon's decision to move cross country took dawn and jeff away from their dad, but that's no reason for dawn to treat her own sister like dirt for having a father (her only living parent, by the way).

I think Dawn meant 30 years. Still it was an interesting comment because neither Dawn nor MA (outside of #4) really gave much thought to their parents as young teens. So basically Dawn wants her life to be like Back to the Future, except that she'd have to make sure Sharon and Richard do break up in high school because otherwise she, MA, and Jeff would never be born...
