^ I think you're right. It was the moms but that would scare me enough.

^Especially as a little kid. I'd probably never get on one again.

I was in New York this last week visiting my brother, and when I went to that Museum of Natural History, there were a bunch of kids from a day camp there, and one of their counselors was named Stacey!

^ Cool you got to go there and that you saw that ;D This book always makes me want to visit the museum. Interested to hear that groups of kids really do (though I assumed the probably did but nice to hear for sure)

I went to the museum once and it was awesome. I saw the huge blue whale that was on display and i remembered thinking that it was mentioned in a bsc book one time (I think?). It was the summer when the last bsc book came out...ahh memories memories

I'm going to the museum this week sometime (a friend of mine is visiting from out of town, and no one can resist the siren song of a huge blue whale hanging from the ceiling!) and I KNOW I'll be thinking about Stacey the whole time!

I'd love to visit that museum! It looked great in "A Night in the Meseum" with Ben Stiller. I never picked up on Stacey being that bad... i thought she wasn't being understanding, but the others were annoying me more. Laine was great, one of the reasons I liked her was this book. Claudia was a pain in the butt.

^ I think Stacey's thoughts were snobbier than her actions. ;D I actually couldn't stand Laine but never like her much (have a bias against her after the way she treated Stacey with the diabetes....) Claudia did start things, though, I agree. Claudia and the boxcar always makes me laugh but would be so annoying. Is the movie with Ben Stiller out yet? I remember seeing previews but can't remember when. I want to watch that more than ever now that I read it takes place at this museum ;D

I went to The Museum of Natural History when I was ten years old and my family and I went on vacation to NYC. It was nice enough, but since I'm a Chicago native, The Field Museum and The Museum of Science and Industry appeals more to me.

Interested to hear that groups of kids really do (though I assumed the probably did but nice to hear for sure) I was there as part of a group of kids, but the kids were older than the ones in the book. It was on a school band trip when I was sixteen. The youngest kids in our group were the same age as the BSC.

^ Thanks. I'll have to check for it when I go to the movie rental place ;D I've always loved the Field Museum and used to go there a lot when I was little. After reading this book, I always pretended that I was leading a big group of kids around it ;D

The BSC have made me so desperate to visit New York, but as I'm on the other side of the world, I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon

^ Me too, I'd love to see New York for Broadway and shopping! Hehe and like Jessi's Big Break, to hear someone say "Ya sangwiches goils" I never picked up on Stacey being that bad... i thought she wasn't being understanding, but the others were annoying me more. Stacey was getting embarrassed too easily over the littlest things. But on the other hand, I agree and think her friends were being very embarrassing. I mean imagine if your friends came to visit you or you went on holiday with them and one was being really loud and obnoxious at times, another making a big fuss and constantly being terrified of everything, another acting smug and quoting annoying statistics and another being moody jealous cow... agh I'd want to tear my hair out!

I guess I'm spoiled because I live an hour outside NYC and have been there many, many, many times. I actually went to the Museum of Natural History not that long ago. It's quite pricy now, I don't know if all those parents would want to fork over the $$ for their kids to go.
