If they do, I won't get depressed over it. Free BSC ebooks are not that hard to find. Plus, if other people also do that, they'll probably get rid of the ability to return ebooks at all. (I have bought ebooks for my kindle by mistake and returned them immediately.) Sorry. I'll stop doing it. I didn't think of that. I just wanted to discuss these books on here. I didn't realize this was going to turn into this duscussion. I didn't mean to offend you.

I worry that if there's not enough interest, they won't do the whole series and if there is a lot of people doing the read-and-return thing, they may decide it's not worth it. :/

It's just that a friend of mine told me she did it so I'll tell her not to do it either. She doesn't do it with the BSC ebooks, but other books. I didn't think of it like that, the way she described it was sort of a library. You "rent" the book and then return it, but I see your point.

Ha ha, what? Who thinks someone is going to frame their cat? They had no reason to believe that Stacey knew about the cat's hiding habits prior to getting back into their house. I lost an earring a few weeks ago, and my cat found it under the bed a few nights ago. (She didn't steal it. It fell out while I was sleeping.) It made me think of this one.

This is my favorite mystery as a kid; Tara sounded adorable and the parents treating there pets like kids. I have an aunt and uncle that does that but they don't have actual children like the gardella's did.

Sorry I guess I am just an idiot. I just felt that way when I was reading the book.

Ashley, I wasn't insulting you or calling your idea stupid. The scenerio made me laugh because I'm a cat lover who dislikes Stacey. Different ideas are what keep the board going. You don't need to be constantly on the defense when someone disagrees with yours. Nobody is out to get you!

I love that from the very beginning Kristy supports Stacey and believes her. I also appreciated that Kristy made it a point to separate Stacey from a possible BSC problem. Stacey: "I didn't take the ring, Kristy." Kristy: "I know and you know that you didn't take the ring. Don't worry about that. But what we do have to worry about is keeping the clients that we already have." This is at the top of page 59. Thankfully, I've never been in a similar situation but I have experienced being automatically thought the worst of and by someone who truly should have believed in me. I can understand how Stacey wanted to be sure Kristy truly did believe her and I'm so glad she did. Claudia, truly was just awful. She could have at least looked for the ring while Stacey was out of the room, (not that that would make her actions right at all, by any means, just not quite as callous). Count me in as also enjoying the scenes with Stacey and her mom. I just had a new thought. Maureen must have known that Stacey and Kristy were going to baby-sit at the Gardella's. I would have cheered had Maureen insisted on accompanying Stacey, saying that she (M) would look for the ring once and for all. I do still sort of think she should have done that from the beginning. On the other hand, since Maureen did trust in Stacey, she was probably so upset at the Gardellas that the thought of her needing to make things right never occurred to her. Does that make sense? I was glad the ring was found and lol I hope the Prezziosos didn't notice their "watered" by Joey and Jenny, living room! What a random and funny to read about (not have to clean up after) scene.

The water in the house was totally irrelevant to the rest of the story!

And Joey Conklin is never heard of again. He could have been used as the neighborhood kid that actually liked to play with Jenny.

Just downloaded the ebook from Amazon and can't wait to reread it. The Super Specials and the Mysteries were my favourites

Glad to hear about the mysteries! I feel kind of alone in my mystery love, haha.

I liked them, too! They never felt like their own separate series to me- just an extension of the regular books. I don't typically categorize them any differently when I think about my favorites!

I still prefer the mysteries within the regular series. Mallory and Buddy finding clues in Sophie's diary is my favorite. Dawn's sea serpent spell is just hysterical. I do enjoy some of the mysteries or parts of them. I would love to see the finished Day in the Life of Stoneybrook photo album made in Clue in the Photograph--I do wish that had somehow been tied into Karen's Spy Mystery. Being in or helping with the readathon always sounds cozy (because it is in snowy winter) and fun. I do love the Christmas pageant and Mary scenes in Christmas Chiller, just can do without the "chilling" parts. This very book, I will always like because of how good a friend Kristy was right from the getgo to Stacey.
