maybe she was just a fitness addict and she was going through withdrawals if she didn't get to her aerobics class on time.

^ You might be right, Greer. ;D I just read in another book where Mr. Marshall calls to arrange a sitter. I think the fact that he seems to do most of the calling and setting up the jobs is what makes his total absence in Mr. Mom so weird to me. Of course, maybe he just got busy at work or something, was traveling or another perfectly logical explanation like that. ;D My mind keeps turning it into some big story, though, about a break-up. ;D

^ I agree. I don't like thinking that anyone is getting a divorce (though the idea of scandal is appealing ;D) Maybe he was out of the country or something. ;D

Hehe, I love how you guys are coming up with some reason for his absence, instead of just believing that the ghostwriters screwed up *cough* again *cough*. Fanfic material, no? ;D

My favorite Marshall is Nina. I thought the subplot was cute where she couldn't find her blanket.

I wish we'd seen more of the Marshalls, and maybe a little less of the Perkinses? I can understand why the Perkinses were so prominent, but getting to know the Marshalls a little better would have been nice.

I like the Marshall girls. I have a grandma name Elanor. Right now, I'm re-reading book #54 Mallory and the dream horse. Nina took her blankie to school. While Mallory is baby-sitting her. Nina slides with her blankie. Sounds so adorable & fun @ the same time.
That's weird, Mr. Marshall bought a rope at the garage sale in #2 To me, unusual to buy a rope @ garage sale. Unless your moving want tied down your belongings or something else.

^Wasn't it also a dirty piece of rope hanging from the McGills' garage? I think it happened in #13 at the yard sale. Mr. Marshall was one of the few dads that scheduled jobs. I think we heard more of him than say Mr. Perkins, didn't we?

I liked reading about Nina and Eleanor. I was a little annoyed with Mrs. Marshall in Kristy and Mr. Mom, because she didn't know about the two sitter rule. I guess it's because she's never had two sitters for her Nina and Eleanor (at least I don't remember her having two sitters for her kids). But it wasn't her fault. The BSC should've told her about the two sitter rule but I think she should've know that if there are more children, there probably would be more than one baby-sitter.

I liked Nina and Eleanor Marshall quite a bit. They were cute kids. I enjoyed reading about them in the early books (especially in Phantom Phone Calls!). But I liked the Nina and ripped blanket subplot in Mallory and the Dream Horse.
