^ I always have trouble with that one, too. Glad I don't have to read BSC books outloud. ;D

My mom would sometimes read LS and BSC aloud to me as a kid when I wanted to be read to, and I think she had trouble with some of their names too

I used to have trouble saying "Papadakis." I still do! is it pop-uh-duh-kiss? puh-pah-duh-kiss? pap-uh-duh-kiss? When I was a kid I used to insert an extra syllable and pronounce it: pap-uh-dad-uh-kiss

I pronounce it Pap-a-dack-iss. I used to have the worst time with this name! Still not sure if I'm saying it right, but like audreedee, I'm too old to change my ways. The other day I came across my old stash of Little Sister books, and I was struck with a thought: How do you pronounce Ms. Colman's name? I always pronounced it Coleman, but it occured to me that I've never seen that name spelled without the "e." I hope this isn't yet another mispronounced BSC name to add to my list.

I say "coleman" and "pop-uh-dack-iss" even though it's probably "pap."

I always say "Cole-man" and "Pap-a-dee-kiss" though I know that one at least isn't right. ;D Of course, I still say "Sheah" for Shea and "Seen" for Sean. ;D

I never thought would be different from Coleman. I think we had a Colman in my hs class. I had a teacher named Ms. Coleman, with an E. I think I pronounced Karen's teacher's name Call-Man for a long time.
