What kind of stuff would you have wanted your sitter to have in her kid kit and/or what would you have put in a kid kit of your own? I always thought Jessi's office kit sounded fun cause I have this thing about office supplies. They're awesome. I wouldn't have cared about the books they always seemed to have in the kits. I went to the library at least once a week, so another book would have been no big deal. Plus I've always disliked being read to because my mind wanders. My kid kit would include all the little toys I played with in the 80s like colorforms, a view master, a Skip-It, a Magic 8-Ball, one of those little battery operated keyboards, a Pound Puppy or two...I'd have to rotate stuff or my kid kit would weigh a ton!

I would have liked the books and art supplies. For my own Kid-Kit, I would probably have put in Polly Pockets, Barbie dolls, yo-yos, kaleidoscopes, maybe some small musical instruments.

I sometimes used to wish I was being babysat by them and had a kid kit even though I had my own toys
if I had a kid kit, I would put in crayons, markers, drawing pads, charcoal pencils, construction paper, as well as old board games and old picture books. Maybe even noodles and paints for making pasta necklaces and other fun artsy materials.
How would you decorate your own kid kit? I don't think we ever saw one aside from what Dawn had in Dawn and the Dream Boy when babysitting Emma (who IS that? She was not in the books!) and that wasn't even a box

I also think that office kit would have been fun. Books I wasn't familiar with would have been nice, too, since I was like Charlotte; I loved to read on my own and could do it well, but I liked being read to as well. I'd have liked Play Doh, too, or maybe something that involved painting.

I would have liked the office supplies, too. I would want Barbies in there, and maybe some art stuff.

I would love books and art supplies in my Kid Kit. I always thought Jessi's office theme was creative too. I like the idea of Polly Pockets in the Kid Kits as well. I used to play with those all the time as a kid.

I liked reading about jessi preparing the kid kit too in Keep Out Claudia
I think treasure trolls, pet shop zoo and other early 90's toys would have been nice too.

now all I see are dumb dora and disney channel merchandise Tell me about it . If I see one more HSM doll, I'm going to explode. Whatever happened to good old Barbie? Anyway, what I would love in a Kid Kit is books of course and maybe a couple of composition notebooks to create my own journal and a couple of Barbie dolls.

If I see one more HSM doll, I'm going to explode. Whatever happened to good old Barbie? HSM dolls are nothing, just look at those d*mn Bratz dolls! Those things get on my nerves! I'd love my sitter to have Barbies! In my kid kit I'd probably have Barbies, Nina Turtles, and G.I. Joe. Maybe some fun board games (NOT monopoly!) and classic childrens books (Ramona the Pest comes to mind! ).

^Ninja Turtles! I was just going to post that everyone's Kid Kits on here sound super girly. Nice to see you added G.I. Joe for the boys. (Or as a manly boyfriend for Barbie. That works too.)
I would throw in a few matchbox cars and Transformers in mine.

^Legos would also be good. My husband loved them when he was a kid.

I liked Legos too. I don't really like that things are still considered "girl toys" or "boy toys," but I think girls luck out a little bit. In my experience it is much more accepted for girls to play with "boy things" than for boys to play with "girl things."
