Stacey's problem in #13: She has to go back to Manhattan and go to school with Blair and Serena. Lol I wonder how that would've turned out ;D.

Stacey does seem to have more problems than everyone else.

Nah, I think Stacey has more problems. Her books usually have way more drama than everyone else's. With her parents, boys, school, and diabetes.

Okay, they all have problems. You can't really compare problems.
Stacey has a disease, divorced parents who put her in the middle, but she also is responsible, smart, sophsticated, and has that whole "spends the weekend in the city" thing going on.
Kristy's dad walked out on her family at an early age, forcing her and her brothers to grow up much faster and take on more responsibility than they would have otherwise. her mom remarries and suddenly she has to adjust to an entire new family.
Mary Anne's mom died, her house burned down, she had to see a therapist, and her stepsister/best friend moved to the other side of the country. And her other best friend moved to the other side of town, and her boyfriend is controlling and creepy.
Abby's dad died and her mom is absent a lot. Her sister is wrapped up in music and she spends her nights alone, plus she struggles with extremely bad, almost alienating allergies.
Dawn's parents got divorced and her mom took her away from everything she ever knew and moved her 3,000 miles away from her home.
I don't think any of them really have more or less problems than another. Except Jessi, she doesn't really have any. Her parents are together, her family is all good, she's healthy, she's a ballet prodigy, etc.

^I don't think she does. She helps out at home and babysits to earn money to help pay for her ballet equipment.

Two words: "Poor Mallory!" This is the only Mal book I own, and the title alone almost kept me away. I actually liked it too. I kind of think of Mallory as older Karen. I mean, she has glasses, complains alot, acts babyish (whining), and is the ugly duckling of her friends. Do you think Ann had it in for Karen too? She definately has a hatred for Mallory, but she seemed awed by Karen. Another injustice.

^I never realized until someone on this board pointed out that "Poor Mallory!" could have two meanings. "Poor" as in "I pity you, Mallory!" or "Poor" as in "We're dead broke, Mallory!" It's kind of a creative title when you look at it like that.

Well, BSC in the USA is a stupid title. They live in Connecticut, so of course they'll be in the USA. The title should have been something like BSC Across the USA since they traveled from Stoneybrook, Connecticut to Palo City, California.

i agree with everyone who said that the titles got worse as the series went on. all the ones i dislike are at the end. 80. mallory pike, no. 1 fan. why the bizarre abbreviation? even if they had spelled out the word "number" it's only four extra letters. 93. mary anne and the memory garden. huge spoiler! 108. don't give up, mallory. this one frustrates me to no end. mallory's problem isn't that mr. cobb is favoring the boys. her problem is that she is afraid to speak up in class because she doesn't want to look like a brain. so i guess it seems to me like she ALREADY gave up, so why should mr. cobb call on her when she never speaks up? 123. claudia's big party. the party isn't very big (20 people i think?) and she doesn't even have fun.

I never knew, that other people picked out the titles. I always thought, it was the Author's job to name these titles.
The spoils, just said it all. Like Jessi Gold Medal. Should been called Jessi go to swim event or something like that.
Kristy and the dirty diapers. (When I first saw this book, I thought about dirty diapers. But, I still read it.)
here's other worst title I found Kristy Worst Idea. (Usually Kristy has great ideas, throughout the series.) Been long time, since I read this book. Can someone tell me about. Like jog my memory back.

^ everybody is burnt out, the club changes the days it meets, and they decide to abandon the club for a while. but then they realize they miss it. because obviously when you're 13, there is nothing more exciting than baby sitting.
