It just goes to show that maybe Adam isn't the smartest of the Pike triplets

^ I wouldn't go that far. Besides, they'll turn 11 before long and we all know what that means in BSC-land....time for adulthood!

^ I don't know about that. Wasn't Ben still being baby-sat for and he was 11?

That's true...so was Tiffany Kilbourne. Forgot about that. I'll revise my statement: if you're Mallory and Jessi and you're in the BSC, being 11 means being grown up. If you're anyone else is Stoneybrook, the jury's still out.

Page 70 near the bottom: ^ I've never understood what Peter was trying to say here. I get that DM made nametags for the carnival workers and maybe "fortune?" type messages to sell but what is the "little rotating thing?" Still love Madame Leveaux and was glad Haley won the prize for most creative fund-raising idea. A "mistake" in Nancy's letter in her "P.S." "This time, Haley, disguise your handwriting better." Nancy meant "next time." It would have been funny had the great Madame taken her advice and written again.

I think it's a label maker like this one. I never got the reference as a kid either because I had never seen an episode of Star Trek. I get the reference now but I don't know if any kids reading the books today would. I loved this book and thought it sounded so fun to have a sleepover in the gym. But there's this bit about giving out prizes, and they have the awards ceremony, and Dawn says this: Even when I was a kid, I knew that there would be at least a couple of kids who were holding a sticker and watching a kid with a brand new skateboard and would be sad anyway. And I always thought it was stupid that Hayley won for most creative fundraising idea just because they happened to be babysitting her while she did it. They had no way of knowing how every single kid had raised the money they donated.

Thank you Starrynight and Scrounge, for the picture. I have never seen Star Trek either, not a sci-fan person. Knowing this, makes me wonder (no offense to DM) why anyone would want to "wear" a label. Unless, the sticker was bigger, wouldn't it be hard to read someones name unless you got really close? Oh well, I guess this was something that sounded "fresher" than it was. ETA: As much as I enjoyed reading about Madame Leavoux, I never gave thought to what the other kids did. We don't even hear what regular charges such as Charlotte or Buddy did to raise money.

I think it's just cause I hate dawn, but I'd anyone think she did this to make herself look good?

^Lol, now now. Dawn did constantly remind us how everything was her idea...so maybe...Now that I think about it, this should have been a Kristy, Mallory, Jessi, or even Stacey (Charlotte) book since they directly had siblings at SES. I don't even think we were told who David Michael's (or Becca's)? pen-pals were.

I don't know about you guys but I remember label makers being pretty popular when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s.
