The blue tulips sound cute, I don't remember them though
I loved the emerald green sweater and beret her mom bought her from Benetton, sounded really chic!

^ Same! I love green. And the fact that they were from Benetton made them extra chic.

I'd love the green, but in a sweater. I don't really have a head that works in hats.

I love hats, but I myself wouldn't wear a green one, though maybe a dark green one could work rather than bright on me.

Maureen's so savvy with the plastic fold-up cup in her purse. I would have loved to see a picture of the nightstand in Stacey's hospital room right before she left. Out of all of the toys Laine gave Stacey, which one was your fav?

I had to look up what they were: Spider, Red glasses, flowers, get well card, and messages from the BSC. I'm not really a fake flower fan but if I have to pick a "toy," I'd say those just for the idea of electric blue tulips--it reminds me of the beautiful (real) dyed daisies I had last summer. Otherwise, the messages would have meant the most to me.

I want a plastic fold-up cup! My favorite was the spider, with the glasses

I had a plastic fold-up cup as a kid. My mom gave odd stocking stuffers at Christmas, lol. It was about the size of a compact when all folded up. I never really used it because we never went anywhere.

I'd definitely take the cards and messages over everything else. There's something nice about reading things that people have taken the time to write just for you!

i agree! i keep every card i receive. gifts are not very personal, but it seems harsh to throw away something as personal as a signed card.

I have several binders filled with cards. I especially am so glad I kept some greetings from my Grandparents. I also have saved cards from some of you on here and thank you so much for them. A few days ago, I spent a good half hour going through some extra special cards. Just getting to relive the words, made it feel like the dear friends who wrote them were here with me. That is just priceless. Later I will re-read some of them and will try to find a birthday card from my Grandparents that would be cool if I could.
