I never understood why the portraits were graded -- it almost made it seem like the story that had the A+ was better than the B- story. Claudia got the lowest grade, I think, at a B- or something. Didn't Mary Anne get an A? I thought that was messed up. Claudia's should have gotten an A, too.

I always liked Abby's portrait a lot, it provided more insight into her life.
I always liked Abby's portrait a lot too for the same reasons. Since she was new to the BSC, her portrait really helped me to get to know her a lot better . I know that Jessi and Mal were in sixth grade and didn't get this project (even though we had to write autobiographies in sixth grade), but to be fair, they should've had portrait books for them too .
