I also remember Stacey thinking to herself that Marilyn's new room was "a little dull." At least she didn't say that out loud!

Nope, Carolyn had cats. Marilyn's was yellow and "grown up." Darn it. I thought I had found Mallory Jr. Although maybe I still did if Marilyn had no friends and wanted to be sophisticated. Perhaps she was already into old lady-hood with her redone sewing room at age eight.

I really love them! My favorite is Carolyn, and I think they were so cute on the cover of "Mallory & The Trouble With Twins".

I never liked them much. I enjoyed Mallory and the Trouble with Twins, but after that... meh. It gets boring, and it's like, I get it, Marilyn likes music and simple clothing and Carolyn likes science and trendy clothes. They have to explain #21 (and sometimes #30) like every time they sit for them. It gets old fast!
I'm also re reading Mallory and the Trouble with Twins now, and I'm, like, unnecessarily mad that Claudia gets in trouble over their big switch. How in the world was she supposed to know they pulled that? It was total b.s. and Mrs. Arnold sucks for that incident.
