That is very well could have been the time. Shannon rarely came to meetings, it was a surprise when she showed up.

Kristy's leg looks weird on the cover of this book, like it's too short for her body. Also, she's dressed more like how I'd picture Claudia or Stacey would dress - leggings, Doc Martens, and a crazy (Cosbyish) sweater.
Does anyone have any idea what a diaper delivery service is? I would think it sounds like a service where disposable diapers are delivered to you - but Mr. Davis says his service is for cloth diapers. So what are you delivering? Does he drop off clean cloth diapers and pick up the dirty ones? Ew.

Hmmm let's think about this one. One of the kids always has dirty diapers and Kristy finds an entire room full of dirty diapers like a hoarder episode. She of course saves the day by helping to clean up the room and the kid. The parents are ever so grateful and don't know how they have lived without the BSC! This made me LOL! Imagine a kid with dirty diapers all the time and finding an entire room full of dirty diapers. I'm sure the smell would find you first! Also, I'm sure CPS and such would heavily be involved. A 13 year old cleaning up a room full of dirty diapers would be pure child labour (but of course the BSC could do it because they can do anything!) haha |

I've thought about this before ... and I kinda feel like, perhaps, someone at Scholastic was like:
"The Babysitter's Club! What do you think of when you think of babysitting? Babies? What's gross about babies? DIRTY DIAPERS! Let's somehow write a book with dirty diapers in the title! Of course, it has to be appropriate so let's try to do a cool, dibble, fresh little "twist" on things... and make it... THE NAME OF A KIDS' TEAM! Wow, we are genius!" And then they applauded themselves, had a small party with some bubbly and a charcuterie tray, and went back to work!
